We were full of heightened expectations when Jonathan and Verca told us they were planning on having their wedding in a castle. Castle wedding, wow, sounds like something from the middle age! Besides of the location, their wedding didn’t have anything in common with being “middle age”.
One of our favorite parts was when the bride and groom first met at a coffee shop. They continued to their favorite place to eat and then another coffee shop. Each of these places were connected to their time of dating and is meaningful for them. It was a nice way to start their day together before the ceremony at the castle.
Another interesting fact about the castle wedding was its internationality. Many family members and friends were english speaking. Though there was a language barrier, the whole place was filled with joy, laughter and peace, as it should be.
Finally everyone created a tunnel while holding sparklers for the newlyweds to walk through and then danced all night long.
